Shree Punyatithi Utsav :- 

This was at the noon of Bhadrapad Shuddha Panchami Thursdya, in Sadharan Naam Sanvatsar shake 1832 whie holding up his breath he uttered, "Jay Gajanan" and merged him self in supreme Bramha at shegaon.,,,,Chapter 19

On 8th September 1910, (Bhadrapad Shuddha Panchami, Shri Rushi Panchami, Shake 1832) Shri Gajanan Maharaj concluded his incarnated life by laying his alive body for Sajeevan Samadhi. This day is celebrated as Shree Punyatithi Utsav. It has the rituals like Shri Ganesh Yaagand Varun Yaag from Bhadrapad Shuddha Pratipada to Panchami.OnShree Punyatithi Day the Kirtan for Shree Punyatithi Utsav from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon and thus at 12.00 noon Shree Punyatithi Utsav is celebrated.

On this holy occasion and at all other important festivals of Shree's Mandir, Warkarisparticipate from all the corners of Maharashtra, particulary from the rural part in the form of Bhajani Dindi. Shree's Mandir and premises is illuminated and shree's Palkhi, Gaj (the holy Elephant), Ashwa (Horse), chariot, Mena, Dindi etc, becomes the part of the holy and grand procession is shegaon town. The chanting of Harinaam and the echo of Tal- Mrudunga fill the entire atomosphere with true spirituality. The participating entitled Dindis ( the group of warkaris) are given 10 Tal ( pair of Cymbals), 1 Mrudanga and 1 Veena(Music al instruments used in Dindi), and also Sant Wangmay( Literature of Saints) such as Shri Dnyaneshwari, Shri Tukaram Maharaj Abhang Gatha and Shri Eknathi Bhagwat at free of free of cost when they fulfill the rules of Sansthan.
