The town is a tehsil of district Buldana, well connected by Central Railway on Bombay-Howrah mainline. Alight at Bhusawal and change if coming from Delhi, Gwalior, Lucknow, Allahabad, Bhopal, Bangalore and Goa. For those coming from Madras, Vijaywada change at Wardha. For those coming from Secunderabad, Jaipur, Indore change from Akola. All Express and Mail trains except Gitanjali and Navjeevan Express stop at Shegaon.

Mandir is 1.5 Km away from Railway Station and 1 Km from State Transport bus stand. You can approach by Road/Bus from Khamgaon, a distance of 17 Kms connected with National High-Way No. 6.
