MAIN UTSAV:

  1. RAM NAVAMI : Chaitra Shuddha Navami (RAM JANMA)
    • This utsav is celebrated with all its glory.
    • Thousands of Dindies take part.
    • Lacs of devotees gather.
    • A Procession with Elephants, Horses, Palkies of Rama and Gajanan Maharaja with accompanyment of Thousands of Dindies, is taken around the town.
    • The Procession is received at places by Local people by errecting swagat-gates, distributing sweets, tea-cold drinks etc to all the participants in the procession.
    • Sansthan distributes Mahaprasada to all the devotees
    • Lacs of devotees take the advantage of the Mahaprasada.
    • The dindies coming from outside again visit Mandir for the darshana of Maharaj on the second day morning.
    • The dindies fulfilling some conditions are given 10 Tals, 1 Veena and 1 Mridanga on this morning.
    • From Chaitra Pratipada to Navami some religious functions like Hom-Havans, Kirtanas, Pravachanas are held on large scale. Learned people are invited.
    • A big jatra (Fair ) is held on this occasion of Ram-Navami for full 15 days ie from Pratipada to Pournima (Hanuman Jayanti)
  2. GAJANAN MAHARAJ PRAGAT DIN & PUNYATITHI MAHOTSAV:
    • · PRAGAT DIN : Magh Vadya Saptami
    • · PUNYATITHI : Bhadrapada Shuddha Panchami
    • Both these utsavas are celebrated very sincerely and piously
    • LIke Ram Navami utsava, thousands of Dindies attend these utsavas also.
    • A Procesion is taken around the Town in all its granduer; with sansthan's Elephants, Horses and Palkies.
    • Special dindies of Boys, Women and from Adiwasi areas attend the utsavas like Ram Navami utsava.
    • Again lacs of devotees assemble for these in Shegaon.
    • Arrangement of MahaPrasad is done by Sansthan.
    • The discipline in the Procession and elsewhere in Sansthan complex is seen to be believed.
    • Again the deserving Dindies are given 10 Tals, 1 Veena and 1 Mridanga on the second day when they again come for darshana of Maharaj
    • Holy programmes like Hom Havanas, Pooja-Archanas, Bhajan - Kirtanas - Pravachanas are also specially arranged for devotees.
    • Personalities of fame in Adhyatmic areas are specially invited.

DINDI & YATRA:

  1. For PANDHARPUR :- Sansthan takes Dindies with Palki of Gajanan Maharaj and Warkaries to Pandharpur, Alandi, Triambakeswar and other places to spread the Teachings of Gajanan Maharaj, to create warkari spirit and devotional and pious atmosphere.
    • Wari starts on ______________ every year.
    • Nearly 700 Warkaries travel with Wari on foot.
    • It has all its glory with the Palanquin of Gajanan Maharaj, Elephants, Horses- all well decorated.
    • While travelling, the chanting of Ramkrishna-Hari and Jai Gajanan-Shri Gajanan and the singing of Bhajans and devotional songs on the accompanyment of Tals-Mridanga make the atmosphere charged with Bhakti-Bhava.
    • In the morning & evening Aaratis-Bhupalies-Kakda-Bhajans etc. are sung by and for Local people where Palki halts for night.
    • At night kirtanas are arranged.
    • Documentary on Gajanan Maharaj and Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan is shown-
    • Every where people are treated alike whatever their cast or creed or position may be.
    • Palki at PANDHARPUR : Palki reaches Pandharpur on _________________
    • It joins all other Palkies, with all its glory and grandeur on Ashadhi Ekadashi.
    • All the Warkaries take holy deep in Chandrabhaga, and , have the Darshana of their beloved God Vitthal.
    • Lacs and Lacs of Warkaries from allover Maharashtra and other states throng there to have the Darshana of Vitthal.
    • Gajanan Maharaj Palki stays in its own premises.
    • The Premises of Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan at Pandharpur with Mandir, Bhakta Niwasas and other suvidhas is well known all over Maharashtra and other states

  2. PALKIES RETURN: While returning it takes another route.
    • It covers new area, spreading Bhakti Bhava and the Teachings of sant shri Gajanan Maharaj.
    • It returns back to Shegaon on _________________
    • covering nearly _____________ kms. making devotees and influencing all.
  3. DINDI YATRA WARI TO ALANDI is also a big one.

    • ALANDI - Palki of Gajanan Maharaj starts for this wari on _______________.
    • With all its spendeur and discipline it captures the hearts of the devotees.
    • The devotional atmosphere with strict time schedule and the polite behaviour of Warkaries accompanying impress the people
    • Here at Alandi the Palki stays in its own campus of the Sansthan.
    • After having the Darshana of Sant Dnyaneshwar, the Palki starts for Shegaon.

  4. PALAKIES TO :
    • A. Gajanan Maharaj Palki goes to Other Places:
      • Triambakeshwar, Paithan, Mehun, Ujjain, Omkareshwar (M.P.), Shrishailam{Andhra Pradesh) etc. as well
      • It is followed by 150 devotees
      • It takes 4 months.
      • Daily routine is strictly observed.
    • B. Palki also goes to Konkan Mumbai, Gujarath, Andhra Pradesh to spread the Teachings of Gajanan Maharaj and the devotional atmosphere.

HELP TO OTHER BHAJAN-DINDIES:

  • Devotional songs by Saints, from Sant Shreshtha Dnyaneshwar, Namdeo, Eknath, Tukaram to Tukdoji Maharaj have great potential of good sanskaras.
  • Sansthan encourages these traditions and devotional atmosphere.
  • To encourage Bhakti-Marg and the devotional atmosphere is the need of the hour.
  • So when more than a Thousand dindies come to take part in Sansthan's Utsavas, Sansthan takes all care of their stay at Shegaon as well as their food and other necessities.
  • Moreover the dindies fulfilling certain conditions are given 10 Tals (cymballs); 1 Mridanga and 1 Veena and the granthas-Dnyaneshwari, Eknathi Bhagwat, Tukaram Gatha. (to each dindi).
  • Till date nearly 3800 dindies have been given the Material. That means these 3800 villages are automatically linked with sansthan and its work.

ARRANGING RELIGIOUS PROGRAMMES :

  • Sansthan arranges Saptahas (Programmes of a week duration ) such as Bhagwat Saptah, Ramayan Saptah, sanskar saptah; Yoga saptah etc.
  • Also speeches, Pravachanas, by famous personalities are arranged.
  • Programmes of Bhajans-Bharudas, Kirtanas are arranged.
  • Of course Daily Bhajans, Pravachanas, Kirtanas are also kept as per schedule.
